Shine again , u crazy diamonds.........

On 15th aug,1947 , we , incredible Indians had tryst with destiny. It was a moment of pride and will always be.  Even today after 64 years it makes me feel  proud that I belong to nation of  such eminent leaders who not only  made our country what it is but made world bow to us by the content of our character. Being Indian not only means by blood but by the culture.  I know still there are many more fights to fight with destiny, but never has been a time when we didn’t had that killer instinct to conquer any situation. We had proved this to world in past and will keep on proving this in future also. No matter  how hefty or massive the problem may be, we never   lost hope and always emerged victorious. But still there are miles to go before we sleep, there are numerous issues to focus upon ,there are numerous mouths to shut, there are numerous cheeks to slap, numerous hands to shake, numerous hearts to hug, numerous shoulders to lay our head and so on. I know we have this in us and we can do it,  In fact we have done it since past and world was always and will be a spectator(obviously with mouth wide open and eyes bulging out).   No matter what colour, caste or creed we 1.2 billion people have, still all 1.2 billion mouths exuberate in joy on every shot of Tendulkar, still all 1.2 billion throats start humming when A.R Rahman tingles vande mataram, still all 1.2 billion hands rise in national crisis, still all 1.2 billion eyes glare at heaven when our heroes fight at borders, still all 1.2 billion people rejoice together on streets when Team india bleeds blue ..............(F*** all those and right into there face who still question our unity). In spite of such great achievements we were never a swellhead or egoist , still we spread the message of love, care , respect  and honour. I accept this fact that we have this habit of discriminating people, we discriminate people based on their character, that is why we have multiple words for English word “you”(Aap, tu, tum....). We still call our elders by “aap” , we still join hands and bow at hearts of other people, we still bow down at the feet  of people, we still salute the deserving ones.......... but I love such discrimination, which is out of respect and honour.

This is because we have this in our blood, it is pre programmed  in our hearts and it is pre injected in our minds. On this 15th day of 8th month of the year 2011 , I Manas Misra salute all 1.2 billion people for being so nice and being part of such an esteemed nation and no one should forget that we were ever a “FIGHTER” so one fight more...........one fight more .....one fight more...

  2. True. We Indians have the Grit to have a stoic stance in the face of adversity such as terror attacks or national calamities. Things such as these have become so commonplace that we have supposedly become immune to such catastrophes. We are carrying on with the chores of everyday life and exude a carefree disposition towards life. Most of us feel that we can't make a difference in the way Indians are drudging through life and therefore we have not seen a revolution griping India. I wish and hope that we will find our exuberance again and bring forth order from the present chaotic situation in the nation. Jai Hind.
